So, it’s been a while since I last spoke about my breast cancer so I thought I’d give a quick update!
My holistic journey that I put in place with the help of some of the world’s leading practitioners prevented “Lumpy” from growing but sadly it didn’t shrink it. As Lumpy is the HER2+ variant of cancer, if left unchecked it did have the potential to spread rapidly and become more sinister, hence the difficult decision was made to finally undergo a course of targeted chemotherapy ALONGSIDE all of the holistic practices that I have in place.
This is working! Lumpy is officially shrinking! B etter still I am able to exercise relatively normally, albeit at a lower intensity so as not to induce oxidative stress which with chemotherapy you definitely don’t need.
I have 4 more rounds of chemotherapy to go before I have a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. The plan is then for 1 year of further hormone therapy to destroy and remaining tumour cells that I may have.
Main side effect…my Mohawk started falling out…so I took the decision to shave my head completely (see pic below). My husband LOVES it as it reminds him of the female warriors from the film Black Panther!
Have I abandoned my holistic journey??? HELL NO! Whilst the chemotherapy may be destroying my tumour cells it also attacks my immune system plus other healthy cells. The holistic treatments make my immune system strong, boost vitality and energy and help me to thrive whilst having chemotherapy.
A quick thank you in particular to Deborah Walker Naturopath – you are an absolute LEGEND! Your help, Love and support on my journey has helped more than you will ever know!

What holistic treatments am I having?
– 5Kg organic carrots juiced daily (Huge Vitamin A boost)
– Intravenous vitamin C (very expensive)
– Individually prescribed supplement regime, devised based upon my DNA Life testing, also includes oestrogen blockers which help starve Lumpy
– Stem cell patches which activate my body’s natural stem cells
– Infrared sauna blanket for detoxification
– 4 litres of water every day
– Reiki treatments with a Reiki Master
– Muscular and lymphatic massage
– Supplement protocol to boost my mitochondrial density and efficiency at cellular level
– So many more protocols and treatments periodically!
Staying fit and well during chemotherapy is another full time job but with everyone’s support, I am getting there.
My journey as of this week is also on Instagram – shrinking_lumpy – please drop in and say hello.
If I can be of any help to anyone on my journey, please let me know!
